Medjugorje visionary Ivan Dragicevic spoke at St. Rose of Lima Church on Sunday March 25. St. Rose of Lima Church is a great big old beautiful church in Chelsea, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. Though I was invited to attend, other commitments kept me from going. A friend, Leonard Burgess (publisher of Our Lady's Monthly Message Booklet) was in attendance that evening.
Lenny tells me after his apparition Ivan said, "Our Lady came with 3 angels and blessed us all." Lenny says, "It was a very blessed evening. It was a very big crowd filling 3/4 of the large church." Ivan answered some questions that evening. He was asked by a lady if he had seen Fr. Slavko, Ivan said laughingly, "Do I have to tell you everything?" She said, "Yes." So he answered, "Yes I did."
Recently it was reported that Medjugorje Visionary Mirjana may have seen Father Slavko, during her annual visitation of Our Lady on March 18. Neither visionary offered any more insight about Father Slavko's appearance.
Medjugorje priest Slavko Barbaric died of a heart attack on November 24, 2000. He was descending Cross Mountain with a group of Pilgrims, having finished the Way of the Cross. He was the author of several book such as the well know, "Pray with the Heart." His books have been written in 20 different Languages and have sold over 20 million copies worldwide. Most of all, Dr. Slavko Barbaric was known for putting himself ceaselessly at the service of Medjugorje pilgrims.
The apparition was confirmed March 28, 2001 by Caral Cahoon (Ivan's organizer). Carol states that on Wednesday March 21 Ivan saw Father Slavko.
