The
Householder
/Light
of the World
Within you lay the gate that leads to the city. As we are told in Revelation
22-14-15, "...And that by the gates they may enter into the city. Outside
are the dogs and the sorcerers and the fornicators and the murderers and the
idolaters and everyone who loves the practice of falsehood."
Mat. 5-14-16, "You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a
hill can not be hidden. Neither do men light a lamp and put it under a measure,
but upon a lamp stand so as to give light to all the house. Even so let your
light shine before men in order that they may see your good works and give glory
to your Father in heaven"
Having then entered into the gate of the kingdom of heaven (interior life)
and having built your house on rock (Jesus) in this dwelling place, then you
must come out from the gate in the kingdom of heaven, because you are the light
of the world.
How can we in good conscience remain in this safe dwelling place? There are
so many others in this world who need help, because, they do not know how to
enter into the kingdom of heaven. We therefore go out from the kingdom of
heaven, because those who enter the kingdom, are the light of those in the
world. Now, because those in the world do not enter the kingdom, those who go in
and out of the narrow gate of interior life, come back into this exterior world
to those who dwell in it and we say, "Come!"
Jesus said that you put a light on a lamp stand so as to give light to all
the "House" Mat. 5-15. Remember those who do not enter into the
kingdom of heaven are the house who are built on sand. So they who are in this
world are the houses heading for ruin. Those who have built their houses on rock
come from their home in the kingdom of heaven, they are the light on the
lampstand. They have come back into this world, to do as Jesus would have them
do, "Let your light shine before men in order that they may give glory to
your Father in heaven, " Mat. 5-16. In this they who are in the world have
a chance to enter into the kingdom of heaven and build their house on rock.
Revelation 21-7, tells us, "He that overcomes (this world) shall have
eternal life and I will be his God, and he will be my son." These are they
who seek God, look within themselves, go through the course, until they are as a
house built of rock and then, they return to this world saying to it,
"Come." They are the light of this world, because they reflect the
mirror image of their creator, as they were designed to do.
Revelation 22-14, tells us, "Blessed are they who wash their robes that
they may have the right to the Tree of Life, and that by the gates they may
enter into the city."
Mat. 5-14 tells us, "You are the light of the world, a city set on a
mountain can not be hidden," (nor can the love of God when you have
surrendered to His Will) by entering the narrow gate that leads to life, Mat.
7-14. Having found the good treasure, Mat. 6-21, 12-35, 13-44, 13-52, 19-21 and
so on.
If you have understood these things then you have received enlightenment
into, "The kingdom of God which is inside of you," Luke 17-21. Having
received this gift of enlightenment, "You are the light of the world,"
Mat. 5-14. So, "Do not hide your light," Mat. 5-14-16, but share with
the world what you have received by grace, "That they may see your good
works and give glory to your Father in heaven," Mat. 5-16.
As the angels sang, "Peace on earth to men of good will," Luke
2-14. Men of good will do good works. So share your light with others that,
"They may see your good works, Mat. 5-16, and give glory to your Father who
is in heaven," Mat. 5-16.
If you do not share the light given you by God, Saint James tells us that;
"Faith (which is the power to believe) without works are dead in
itself," James 2-14-17. In this I say, having received the light, and having come
out from the kingdom of heaven you should share the light. If you do not share the
light, then it is dead within you. As Saint James said, "Faith without
works are dead in itself."
Now knowing that faith without works are dead in itself, consider this
parable of the gold pieces, Luke 19-11-25. Here the unfaithful servant hid the
gold coin (0r the light) and was wicked for doing so. So that I say again,
"Let your light shine before men," Mat. 5-16. If you hide the light,
your faith is dead in itself, and you are wicked in the eyes of the Lord, as
sharing the light is the will of God. So having received enlightenment by the
good grace of God, do not hide what God has given you, instead let your light shine before all men.
Saint Peter having been given light was sharing the light with the people,
in 2 Peter 1-19, Peter tells the people, ..."And we have a more sure word
of prophecy; where you do well to take heed, as a light shining into a dark
place..." Here Saint Peter is telling the people that, what he is saying is
as a light shining in a dark place. The light is that which has been given
Peter, by the grace of God, in the kingdom of heaven. The world, which does not
know the kingdom of heaven or the light therein, is the dark place.
Those who enter into the kingdom of heaven receive light, then they come
back through the gate, to share this light with the world which is in darkness.
This is done because the world does not know the kingdom of heaven, which is
light. The hope is the salvation of those who are in darkness.
Saint Peter tells us that, what he is saying is light, so that the light we
are talking about here is without question the light of knowledge. So we can say
that those who have received the light have been instructed in the kingdom of
heaven and come back through the gate with knowledge which should be shared with
the world.
Jesus says in Mat. 13-52, "So then, every Scribe instructed in the
kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings forth from his storeroom
things new and old." Now a storeroom holds things that are stored for
future use. The things that are stored are brought out when they are needed. So
where is the storeroom of the Scribe who has been instructed in the kingdom of
heaven? The storeroom of a man is his brain. So that a man who has been
instructed in the kingdom of heaven, having received light or knowledge,
remembers what he has been instructed by placing it in his storeroom, which is
his brain. Now in Mat. 13-52, (I repeat) we learn that the Householder brings
things out of his storeroom that is old and new.
For those who carefully look at the information that has been provided and
for those who conform to God's will, they shall grow as the mustard seed, Mat.
13-31-32, which when grown yields good fruit by the grace of God. So that the
greatest artist (God) who desires with a burning love, will mold you into a
loving and beautiful work of art. Now you reflect the true mirror image of God,
as a light shining into a dark place, which is this world.
You will not understand all the things that are written here overnight. It
takes years and years, in fact it takes a lifetime. There will be times when you
are discouraged, but you must keep on learning the Scriptures and sharing with
the world all that God reveals to you. In the end you will not be disappointed
for you shall receive your reward.
Mat. 5-12, "Rejoice and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward
in heaven: For they persecuted the prophets which were before you." Mat.
16-26-27, "For what does a man profit if he gains the whole world and loses
his own soul... For the Son of Man (Jesus) shall come in the glory of His Father
with His angels and then He shall reward every man according to his works.
Luke 6-35, "Love your enemies and do good and lend, hoping for nothing
again: and your reward shall be great and you shall be the children of the
highest:..." Luke 6-23, "Rejoice you in that day, and leap for joy!
For behold, your reward is great in heaven...."
1 Cor. 3-8, "...And every man shall receive his reward according to his
own labor." Revelation 22-12-13, "And behold, I come quickly: and my
reward is with me, to give to every man according as his work shall be. I am
Alpha and Omega the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last."
