To Whom it May Concern: Please enroll me in the POW prayer group. I am very concerned for all of the souls in Purgatory and have always prayed for them. I believe in our Mother's message to pray, pray and pray. I will be ordering the special chaplet beads. You may contact me at anytime in order to ask for my prayers. I keep a link with our beautiful Mother on my desktop in order that I may see and talk to her daily. Through Her, I am brought to Him. I am eternally grateful to her and will do anything that She asks of us. From my experience with Medjagore, I am brought to prayer. I am faithful to our Holy Father in Rome, yet, I also believe fervently in both Mary's presence and messages in Medjagore. I am a one small product of her messages. From Her, I have been given the wonderful gift of prayer! I wish to use my gift for the intentions of many and this includes the souls in Purgatory. Thank you for enrolling me. I would like to join you in praying for souls in purgatory. I am in Springfield, Ohio. I currently offer to the Father the most precious Blood of His Devine Son together with all Masses offered throughout the world each day for ALL holy souls in purgatory. I always include all of those who have died without baptism, especially those unborn children aborted for any reason and those who, for whatever reason, were never baptized.I will begin offering seven Our Fathers, Hail Mary's and Glory Be's with the creed for those souls daily from now on. I had read about St. Anselm a short while ago, who tells
us to have Masses said for ourselves. What an extraordinary message! I wrote
out a Carmelite card in my own name for prayers and Masses and sent them a
stipend, they are located in Middletown, New York. That very same day I was in
a car accident that totaled my car, but I was left without any physical injury,
just traumatized, (I drive much more carefully) and so I am eternally grateful
to our Lady of Mount Carmel. The last week or so I tried to remember the
saint's name who tells us to have Masses said for ourselves,--- could not
remember it. I went to Google with the question and found your website with the
information I was seeking!!! God gave us the internet for good
purposes----perhaps that was what He had in mind!! By the way, I try to say the
Saint Gertrude's Purgatory Prayer as many times a day as I can----we MUST empty
Purgatory. 1000 souls are released each time it is said! It is short and
sweet-----ETERNAL FATHER, I OFFER THEE THY THE MOST PRECIOUS BLOOD OF THY DIVINE
SON, JESUS, IN UNION WITH THE MASSES SAID THROUGHOUT THE WORLD TODAY FOR ALL THE

I just received the two POW rosary beads I had ordered for myself and my daughter, Julianne Casey, in the mail this afternoon, Saturday, September 13, 2008. We just recently signed up for membership. Upon receipt of the POW rosary chaplets, I had goosebumps all over. First of all, I was not scheduled to receive these chaplets until mid week next week per tracking information. When I received them today, I knew right away why I received them "today" as opposed to next week; our Lady wants me to immediately begin my prayers for the people who perished yesterday, Friday, September 12, 2008 @ 4:23 pm in the Metrolink train crash @ Chatsworth, California. It is the worst train accident with the worst fatalities in 20 years. With the goosebumps, I felt a lot of them are headed for Purgatory; and I also will pray for all those in Purgatory who have been there for who knows how long.
I really believe of Our Lady's miraculous timing of my receiving the POW rosary chaplets on the day I had received them. And Michael, the chaplets are beautiful. God bless all of you! Jessica, Los Angeles, California,

Dear Michael,
It is not by chance that i came upon the POW sight today. I believe that the
Blessed Mother intercedes for me all the time especially when I get down on
life. So this morning as I started my day on a negative note and sent everyone
off on their way, I sat at my computer and found the group. What's interesting
is that I have in the past few years been praying in my own way for the poor
souls in purgatory as per divine instruction. It seems each time I pray that is
exactly what goes into my head "pray for the souls in Purgatory". Now, I feel
the Blessed Mother has intervened once more for me, because I have asked in
prayer for each time that I feel overwhelmed by negative thoughts that she pray
for me to receive the gift of thanks. And I do each time! I am maneuvered into
a different situation each time, but always end up being so thankful and realizing my blessings and gifts and
realizing that I have no reason to be down by putting myself aside and doing
what I need to do and that is pray, pray, pray for others and especially those
poor souls. As I read your message, I couldn't get over your name. Here is a
page of warriors all led by Michael and instructed by the Blessed Mother! So
here I am asking to be a part of this army. God Bless you Michael, your family

I am so glad to have found this site. I had a difficult day today and started surfing the internet when I came upon the Medjugorje site. I started reading about what our Lady said about praying for the souls in purgatory. I thought it was interesting and went on with my day.
Tonight I went to Walmart, a late run to get
formula and wipes for my 6 month old, as I was coming home I started praying
to God about my problem and suddenly I heard crystal clear. “Pray for the
souls in purgatory”. So here I am, no questions,
no what about my problem God? I am just doing what God is telling me to do
and I am doing it with all my heart and soul. With that being said, go

I would like to join the POW prayer group as I want to pray more
fervently and effectively for the Holy Souls - this has always been important to
me, however, I have just had the opportunity of reading the various articles on
your web-site regarding Purgatory and I understand now so much better. So many
of my friends say there is no such thing as Purgatory - and I don't know how to
respond - I will have to show them these articles and encourage them to pray for
the members of their families who have passed on and for
the forgotten souls. I have ordered a POW Chaplet today and will begin saying
the Our Fathers, Hail Marys, Glory Bes To the Father and the Confiteor counting
on my fingers until I receive my Chaplet. Thank you for this quiet ministry
that is so very important to Our Lord and Our Lady and to the Holy Souls and
will be beneficial to myself through the eventual intercession of the Holy Souls
who I may be able to assist in getting to Heaven - the goal of our lives.

Thank you very much for your answer. On June 8, 2002, I was healed after receiving the Sacrament of the sick. Jesus Christ had told the priest who anointed me, that I would be healed. That I still had work to do, and that I have to pray a lot.
Since 1980 I had many M.S. attacks, and my balance was very bad, also, my hands could not hold anything. The doctor too said it has to be God who healed you, because we could not heal you.
Now I am 76 years old and not using any pills any more. Every day is for me still a miracle. When I walk to church, a 25 min. walk up hill and 20 min. down hill, I thank God over and over, you can understand that.
I really belief, that Our Lady of Medjugorje is guiding me to this group.
The priest who anointed me, said, by sharing it with the people I meet or write, I bring Christ and Hope to the ones who hear this.
Our Lady guided me first to the IIPG Prayer Group in June this year.
I know that in our Congregation, we have plenty of daily prayers, but for me it is necessary to pray as much as possible. The good part is that my family also prays more to help me.
I'm sending you this message to thank you for this wonderful Ministry of yours. I always pray the Rosary and the Divine Mercy Rosary especially for my family and myself and then after I discovered this website I realized how selfish I was because they are many souls which need our prayers that unknowingly have been forgotten or neglected. Thank you for accepting my request for membership in the POW. I have been deeply affected by the recent death of our Holy Father Pope John Paul II and I felt the need to have a sense of understanding of what has happened and of what will happen now that our spiritual leader has died. I came across your website as I was researching on the Marian messages in Fatima and Medjugorje. I have read these messages years ago but I wanted to read them again and put these messages again in my heart and in my mind. Reading about these messages again, including prayers for the souls in purgatory, prayers for conversion of sinners and of the whole world for peace and unity, I felt a sense of renewal in my commitment to trust in the power of prayers. In my own little way, I would like to honor the memory of our beloved Pope by re-affirming my commitment to be a good Christian, a good wife, mother and community member, and pray for the poor souls in purgatory, pray the chaplet of Divine Mercy, and the Holy Rosary everyday of my life. I am from Derry in N Ireland I have been to Medjugorje seven times in this past five years. I will go again in October this year, I will spend my pilgrimage in prayer for the Holy Souls. I was very happy to find your page . I started my prayers the next day. I have only begun praying in a serious manner for the Holy Souls recently, I did not understand how much they depend on our prayers. I offer my prayers mostly for forgotten souls and priests. I would like to become a member. Since I was a little girl, I was both fascinated with and frigntened of Purgatory. As I became older, my fear overcame me to the point that I turned away from the Catholic Church seeking refuge in other beliefs that Purgatory did not exist. But, as always, the Holy Spirit will not let the soul rest when it is not following the path that God has intended it to follow. Since my reconversion back to the Catholic faith about 10 years ago the fire to help the poor souls has been rekindled. At first it was slow, but the pace is increasing each day. I say the prayer of St. Gertrude the Great, which is said to release 1000 souls from purgatory every time it is said, at least once a day. I say the Invocations of the Holy Wounds, which the Blessed Mother has said is “…the treasure of treasures for the souls in Purgatory…” , on my rosary beads often. Now, I can add the 7 Our Father’s, Hail Mary’s, Glory Be’s and the Creed to my daily prayers!
Thank you for this prayer group. I find solace in my days knowing that I will someday get to meet all the wonderful Holy Souls that I have prayed for throughout my life here on earth. It’s nice to know that others are praying for them too!

Dear Michael, I have written you earlier to be put on the POW Prayer List. When I was 21 I had a near death expirence. I almost died. I came out of my body and was floating in the night sky. I was in the car below. I cried to Jesus! Help me Jesus. I was all alone. At the time I was not doing things I was supposed to be doing. I saw a bridge like thing, but I couldn't find the openning. In the far off distance I saw a beautiful light. So I started to move toward the light. Then I heard a voice say, "if you move toward that light you will die". So I stopped. And the voice said in a stern way. "What have you done with your life?" I felt ashamed because I had been up to no good. I said I haven't done nothing! Please give me another chance. I'll do better. I haven't had children yet. So the next thing I know I'm back in my body and I can't breath. And I was really afraid that I was going to die. I have since come back to the Catholic Church. I felt I was going to purgatory. So I will pray for these Holy Soul in purgatory, as a form of service. God Bless, Mayra

As they get to heaven, they in turn are our biggest supporters and prayer partners. Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen (who taught me my faith) always said, " as we enter heaven we will see them, so many of them, coming towards us and thanking us. We will ask who they are and they will say a poor soul you prayed for in purgatory". Michael....Happy feast day.....the Holy Souls have always been in my fervent prayers,,,,but more so now as I found out recently that someone I loved very much died 6 years ago.......a fallen away Catholic nevertheless a child of God.....it never worked out between he and I and I gave him to our Dear Blessed Mother when I was in Medjugorje and told her if we couldn't be happy on earth that one day let us be happy together in heaven one day....I have never forgotten this man...the news of his death has been overwhelming to me...especially since he was buried in Rose Cemetery a sign of OUR BLESSED MOTHER and buried on First Saturday in the month of May....I had asked Our Lady recently, since he lived in a city which celebrates a Marian Mass on the feast of the Assumption in a big way that if he knew what was going on at that church to send me the sign of a ROSE....... on the feast day of St Rose of Lima I found out that he died in the year of the 100th anniversary of the Little Flowers death 1997 and that he is buried in a cemetey that bares the name of ROSE....I know that our Lady answered my prayers telling me that he knew the happenings and letting me know of his death....I went to Medjugorje in 1987 she never forgot....where his soul is no one on this earth knows I just feel so much that he is asking for prayers...I had to share this with someone...I had to let someone know that our dear Lady loves us all....that she never abandons us her children.......I love the Holy Souls praying for them makes me happy to know there is something I can do ......God Bless your ministry IT IS AWESOME....In the Hearts of Jesus and His Holy Mother.....Rose Marie
