MAJOR UPDATE, October 2, 2014. For the forth time in the past several years, Our Lady tells Medjugorje seer Mirjana that, "The Signs of the Times" are here. This message from Our Lady comes less than 40 days after this article was written and published on Medjugorje USA.

OCTOBER 2, 2014, message from Our Lady. "Dear children, with motherly love I implore you, love one another. May there be in your hearts, as my Son desired from the very beginning, love for the Heavenly Father and for your neighbor in the first place, above everything of this world. My dear children, do you not recognize the "signs of the times?" Do you not recognize that all of this that is around you, all that is happening, is because there is no love? Comprehend that salvation is in true values. Accept the might of the Heavenly Father, love Him and honor Him. Walk in the footsteps of my Son. You, my children, my dear apostles, you are always gathering around me anew, because you are thirsty. You thirst for peace, love and happiness. Drink out of my hands. My hands are offering to you my Son who is the spring of clear water. He will bring your faith back to life and purify your hearts, because my Son loves pure hearts and pure hearts love my Son. Only pure hearts are humble and have firm faith. I ask for such hearts of you, my children. My Son told me that I am the mother of the entire world. I ask of those of you who accept me as such to help me, with your life, prayer and sacrifice, for all of my children to accept me as a mother, so that I may lead them to the spring of the clear water. Thank you. My dear children, as your shepherds offer you the Body of my Son with their blessed hands, always in your hearts give thanks to my Son for the Sacrifice and for the shepherds that He always give you anew."

UPDATES OCTOBER 2, 2014, "Signs of the Times." 1. By 12 noon 3 earthquakes over 5.7 have happened around the world. 2. 35,000 walruses have beached themselves in a remote Alaskan coastline. This unusual phenomenon is blamed on alarming rates of Artic ice melting, due to global climate changes. 3. Man traveling in U.S. and abroad reenters U.S. unnoticed with the African Ebola strain. Many could be infected as a result. 4. Experts say if virus in Africa and other countries is not contained immediately, estimated deaths by the end of 2014 could exceed 1.4 million. 5. Rare respiratory virus attacking children is sweeping in the U.S. Strong strain of this virus is mutating with new symptoms similar to polio. 4 dead so far. 6. A most unusual volcano eruption in Japan happens without warning, 47 found dead so far.

Before starting this article, please allow me to announce I do not believe in spreading gloom and doom prophecy. I believe "The things not possible with men are possible with God," as scripture tells us. It is my nature to read scripture and apply them to consideration and thought. What is written in the article below is the compilation of scriptures; messages given by the Blessed Mother in Medjugorje and current events unfolding in the news.

UPDATE, SEPTEMBER 3, 2014, The article below is written suggesting there is a dramatic intensified escalation of what may well be "Signs of the Times." The plan was to update this page every day to show readers these rising concerns in recent current events. However, the long holiday weekend (August 30, thru September 1, "Labor Day," left an endless account of frightening worldwide events. These news event were changing faster than I could account for them in this article. As of September 2, this article will be updated from time to time but not daily as there are just far to many events taking place around the world. To become aware of the warning signs being given us which are "Signs of the Times," one need only watch a major news networks like CNN to discover why this article is written. The article below will explain why we should be concerned about current events and the hope Medjugorje could possibly play with the promised sign which will be the cause of many conversions.

Medjugorje Messages

As of October 2, 2014, Medjugorje seer Mirjana has received four messages about "The Signs of the Times." These messages were received on the 2nd of the month apparitions between Our Lady and Mirjana. In the summer of 2006 Our Lady said, "Don't you see, "The Signs of the Times?" Our Lady again repeated this on October 2, 2014.

In Matthew Chapter 24 (Chapter offered at bottom of this article) verse 8 tells us, "The Signs of the Times," are much like "a woman with birth pangs." From this we learn it is intensity, escalation and frequency by which, "Signs of the Times" should be noticed in the world. The closer a woman gets to delivery; the more frequent her birth pangs intensify. The same concept applies to the "Signs of the Times." The closer the world comes to the delivery of chastisements, the more frequently the pang of warning signs increase.

We can not continue to hide our heads in the sand thinking in so doing; the direction of this world will correct itself. In other words, "Ignorance is not bliss." We need learn to recognize warning signs that show themselves in current world events. In recent events over the past several years, more and more warning signs seem to be piling up. It seems to me, these signs are frequently escalating unlike never before.

About Medjugorje Warning and Chastisements

The six Medjugorje seers are receiving ten secrets each. The secrets are of future chastisements to the world, because of sin. The visionaries say the 10 secrets will remain a secret until the appointed time. Only the six visionaries know the days and times these secrets will be revealed and when the chastisements will follow. The secrets will be released to the world one at a time through a priest. The priest who has been selected to release the secrets is, Father Petar Ljubicic. Prior to each chastisement, Father Petar will receive a parchment. He will not be able to read the parchment as it is written in an unknown language. With much prayer, fasting and help from the Blessed Mother, the message will be made clear to Father Petar. The messages about the next coming warning/chastisement will be announced to the world three days before each event takes place.

Released information suggests the first three Medjugorje warning signs are not world wide events. Seer Mirjana has stated these are regional events and will be in signs of a natural occurrence. We also know from an interview with Father Petar that Mirjana say's, at least one warning is in regards to Medjugorje itself. After the first three warning signs, a visible sign will be left in Medjugorje at the site of the first Medjugorje apparition from June 1981. This sign will stand forever as testament. The visible sign we are told will be the cause of great wonder and conversion.

After the visible sign, greater warning signs (which may also be considered chastisements) will come. These latter secrets of chastisements have been said to be so alarming, Medjugorje seer Mirjana is said to suffer deep concern for the world. The coming of the latter chastisements certainly tell us, not all will find peace and conversion from the lasting sign.

To date, Medjugorje seers, Ivanka and Jakov have received all ten secrets; they no longer see Our Lady daily with exception of a specific date, once a year. Vicka, Ivan and Marija, have each received 9 of the 10 secrets; they still see Our Lady every day. Mirjana received all 10 secrets and was told she would only see Our Lady once a year on March 18. For some unknown reason, Our Lady is also giving Mirjana a message on the 2nd of each month. These messages remain ongoing for some years now. The messages given Mirjana are shared with the world, as are the message received by Medjugorje seer Marija on the 25th of each month. The seventh secret has been dismissed by the prayers of the faithful. The seers say some secrets can be removed by much prayer and fasting but not all chastisement can be stopped.

The Key to recognizing "Signs of the Times"

We need remember the key to recognizing "Signs of the Times" is the frequency in which we see concerning escalating current events that do not seem to go away or keep coming back and resurfacing over and over. Applying the process of birth pangs to other such current events, is the application process for sound discernment.

Some possible recent Signs of the Times July to August 2014

Updates will be added in different areas of this article from time to time. It's impossible to comprise a complete list of all events around the world that are frequent, escalating or making the news over and over again. In the past few months alone there seems to be many "Signs of the Times." This article offers a tiny portion of such possible events as example, without making conclusion. Ultimately, conclusions are drawn by each individual, because God give us free will to decide for ourselves.

1. Droughts in various places around the world, especially in California where bridges that once crossed waterways now cross over desert like sand. 2. Plagues with strains which are anti-biotic resistant. 3. Currently Bubonic Plague is in China. 4. We also recently heard of the concerning epidemic of a resistant strain of Ebola in Africa, now spreading to other countries. This strain of Ebola continues to spread where some estimate, if something more is not done soon, hundreds of thousand will die. UPDATE October 2, 2014, Disease experts say, if something is not seriously done soon to stop this breakout of Ebola, some 1.4 million people could be dead by the end of 2014. 5. The U.S. is experiencing a major outbreak of a strain of virus which is attacking the respiratory system, especially of children. UPDATE October 2, 2014, The virus in U.S. attacking children has created some type of new strain of the virus which now also gives polio like symptom to some of the affected children.

This summer of 2014, Bubonic Plague which is also known as "The Black Death," was also found in Colorado. A large number of prairie dogs were found dead on land owners property. Testing the fleas in the area, health organization determined the fleas are infected with Bubonic Plague. Now some people in Colorado have also been infected. These few examples gives us a tiny scope of possible warning signs, found in current events, leading Our Lady to say to Medjugorje seer Mirjana, "Don't you see the "Signs of the Times?"

Signs of Nature

Matthew Chapter 24 tells us to watch out for signs in nature. Just prior to starting this article, we find damage to Washington State due to flash flooding. Flooding has hit many parts of the U.S. this summer and continues to do so. These are some of the following States hit with floods in the past few months, North Carolina, Florida, Maryland to New England, Michigan, South Carolina, Mississippi, New York, Missouri, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Texas and Ohio. Flooding is a normal part of nature but the frequency of flooding in so many U.S. States in just a short period of time is unusually escalating. The escalation is much like a woman with intensifying birth pangs.

Again, I will not attempt to list thousands of other natural disasters which also seem to on the rise over the usual norm. If interested, spend time on the internet researching natural disasters to determine if you also see escalation over recent previous years. I would note here that although many signs of nature are on the rise, this year there is a low number of hurricanes. UPDATE  August 24, 2014, 1. California's Napa Valley hit with 6.0 earthquake. September 30, 2014, 2. Volcano eruption happens in Japan without any warning. So far 47 bodies been found in the ash of this popular mountain climbing spot on Mt. Ontake.

Other "Signs of the Times"

Matthew 24 also tells us in the days of the signs there will be famine in various places. In various levels, famine today is found in many parts of the world. Famine in some respects can even by found in the United States. It is noteworthy that famine could easily be stopped if we sacrifice just a little. This article is not picking on or singling out woman who love makeup, fragrances and lipstick but I saw an article years back that stated the money such products generate each year is more than enough money to stop world hunger. UPDATE On the weekend of September 20 thru 21, over 10 million iphone 6 were sold in just two days. This is a brand new version just released by Apple. People felt obsessed to have it, even if their current phones are working just fine. These new phones sell from $200.00 to $400.00 each. Apple Corporation made billions of dollars in just two days. God only knows how many starving children could have been saved for an entire lifetime with that money.

Wars, Rumors of Wars and Unrest

Below is a short list of just a few places where there is wars and unrest. Israel, Hamas, Russia, Ukraine, Libya, Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Yemen, Afghanistan, Nigeria, Pakistan and Syria. UPDATE September 25, 2014, 1. Terrorist Group ISIS continues to kill, rape and pillage Iraq and now appears to be attacking parts of Syria as well. ISIS has posted several videos of beheadings but there are many more beheadings of men, woman and children living in Iraq who have come to the same fate at the hands of ISIS. ISIS goal is to take over the world and to make the world bow and live by its ideology. October 2, 2014, 2. A number of nations have formed an alliance to strike against ISIS.

Persecution

Matthew 24 also tells us we will be persecuted.

Extreme, radical terror groups ISIS is currently taking one village after another in Iraq. ISIS is persecuting religion. The persecuted are given two choices, convert to the ideology of ISIS or die. Christian men, woman and children are being systematically killed by ISIS just because they are Christians. The once highly Christian population of Mosul, Iraq is now under ISIS control. ISIS bombed and destroyed the Christian tomb of Jonah, located in Iraq. Christianity continues to be under attack in many parts of the world.

Other persecution continue in places such as Russia and Ukraine, Israel and Hamas, as example.

UPDATE Persecution and or Plague? August 29, 2014, 1. Because of ISIS, The United Kingdom raises terrorism level to "severe." 2. September 1, 2014, ISIS computer found hidden deep in files is a 19 page document on ways to use weapons to spread plagues. The document list Bubonic Plague as an example. In this article prior to the release of this ISIS computer information, I listed Bubonic Plague as an example of one of many "Signs of the Times." September 4, 2014, 3. Ebola now spreads further into West Africa and some other countries. 4. October 1, 2014, Man traveling in U.S. and abroad reenters U.S. unnoticed with the African Ebola strain. Many could be infected as a result. 5. October 2, 2014, Experts say if Ebola outbreak is not contained immediately, estimated deaths by the end of 2014 could exceed 1.4 million. 6. What can we do?

In one message, "The Queen of Peace, Medjugorje" said, "With prayer and fasting we can even stop wars." We are also told in another message with prayer and fasting we stop natural disasters." Here we have a choice, pray and fast to stop these things, or not pray and fast and let the world be overcome by those who seek and do evil, until the world is undone and destroyed.

In the Medjugorje message just released on August 25, 2014, during the writing of this article, Our Lady says in part, "Dear children! Pray for my intentions, because satan wants to destroy my plan which I have here and to steal your peace. Therefore, little children, pray, pray, pray that God can act through each of you. May your hearts be open to God's will...." The best action we can take as Christians is to pray, pray, pray. With prayer and fasting we can stop wars and bring peace.

We need to keep reminding ourselves, the reason Our Lady's visits Medjugorje is to bring peace. After all, Mary's title in Medjugorje is, "Mary Queen of Peace." With Her, Mary brings peace for our hearts, minds and the entire world, if we are willing to accept Her invitation. All we need do is believe, pray and fast and the sickness in this world will be healed. Without peace, the whole world will be undone and the remnants of the earth will be no more than a burned out cinder. The choice is ours.

Matthew Chapter 24 (The Destruction of the Temple and Signs of the End Times.)

Jesus left the temple and was walking away when his disciples came up to Him to call His attention to its buildings. "Do you see all these things?" He asked. "Truly I tell you, not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down."

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately. "Tell us, they said, "When will this happen, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end of the age?"

Jesus answered: "Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming 'I am the Messiah,' and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things much come to pass but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be pestilence, famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me. At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but the one who stand firm to the end will be saved. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel--let the reader understand-- then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the housetop go down to take anything out of the house. Let no one in the fields go back to get their clock. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! Pray your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now--and never to be equaled again.

If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. At that time if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Messiah!' or, 'There he is!' do not believe it. for false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time.

"So if anyone tells you, 'There he is, out in the wilderness,' do not go out; or 'Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather.

Immediately after the distress of those days, "'the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.'

"Then will appear the sign for the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory. and He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.

Now learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its twigs get tender and its leaves come out, you know that summer is near. Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you, this generation will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but my world will never pass away.

But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. For in the days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, up to the day Noah entered the ark; and they knew nothing about what would happen until the flood came and took them all away. That is how it will be at the coming of the Son of Man. Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. Two woman will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come. But understand this: If the owner of the house had known at what time of night the thief was coming, he would have kept watch and would not have let his house be broken into. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him.

"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time? It will be good for that servant whose master finds him doing so when he returns. Truly I tell you, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. But suppose that servant is wicked and says to himself, 'My master is staying away a long time,' and he then begins to beat his fellow servants and to eat and drink with drunkards. The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
