President Bush Addresses Congress and the Nation

By Michael K. Jones

This is an update for those who have read the other article published this month on the warnings and chastisements of Medjugorje.

There were no surprises (for me) in the address to the Nation by President Bush on the evening of September 20th 2001. Bush did exactly as I suggested to friends' just days after the terrorist attacks on the U.S. The stem of Bush's speech could have far-reaching untold impact throughout the world. The results of which no one can predict.

I told friends that military experts needed to tie other nations into the terrorist acts that Osama Bin Laden has committed on U.S soil. The U.S. military did exactly that. I won't get into details why I felt this to be a strategic military move, as it would create a very long article here. Lets just simply say that there were no surprises in the Presidents speech until I heard the words "we will seek out terrorist that have a global reach."

This shocked me as it suggests that the U.S. will not get involved in terrorist acts in countries such as Israel where terrorism currently runs rampant. This would further suggest that the article I wrote on the Medjugorje warning signs and chastisements in relation to Israel still could apply, in theory. For a moment while hearing Bush speak to the Nation, I though I should take the article down from the website, until I heard the words, "Global reach."

I define, "Global reach," as a precisely and carefully worded phrase. It suggests that the U.S. is on a campaign to rid the world of terrorists who extend their violent acts beyond the scope of domestic disputes. This in return raises the question; would the U.S. consider military action on Palestine for its terrorist acts against Israel? The unrest in Israel is a domestic dispute and does not appear at this time to have "Global" impact. The U.S. has been the biggest supporter of Israel since the reformation of Israel some 50 odd years ago. However, it was clearly stated in the address to Congress and the Nation that the U.S. seeks only terrorists with global reach. All we can do is hope in prayer that Bush will continue to support Israel. Yet on the other hand Scripture tells us that the "Destruction of Jerusalem" will come.

Most Arabic Nations support Palestine in their efforts as "occupied territories" remains an unsolvable issue between Israel and Palestine. Some of these Arabic Nations have nuclear capacity. If the U.S. were to involve itself military in this domestic dispute, the result would likely be of cataclysmic proportion. It's a Catch-22. There is no easy answer.

If left to fend for itself, Israel, (in my opinion) could not win a war if surround by the armies spoken of in Scripture. Jerusalem would lie in waste, completely undone. At such a sight of destruction the wrath of God would most certainly come down upon man. When all is said and done the "New Jerusalem" as spoken of in Scripture would "come down from heaven."

Again there are no easy answers. Like a game of chess, the smallest move could have lasting and consequential effects. There is one thing that is certain in my mind, the world is about to change the face of the earth as we know it. We are about to enter a war with the precedence of the likes we have never seen before. The world will enter a time of great upheaval. A time of much sorrow, suffering and loss of human life.

In light of the darkness of this article I would add that the power of prayer is beyond all things known to man. Scripture tells us we can move mountains with faith. Our Lady of Medjugorje has told us constantly that the power of prayer can change forces. It is a time for all religious faiths to pray constantly even if our throats become parched by constant prayer.

Let us not forget one and all, that God is mercy and compassion and He hears the prayers of the faithful.

Please note this article is only the thoughts of the webmaster of MEDJUGORJE USA! My thoughts do not suggest the way things will be, only one theory of the way things could be. They do not represent the opinion or theory of any other Medjugorje source!
