About the Presentation
It was the customs of the Jews to offer a child to God by a
rite of purification in the temple. During the 4th Joyful Mystery we celebrate
this right of purification of the baby Jesus when Mary and Joseph brought Jesus
to the Temple for this celebration of purification.
