Infant of Prague #4

This beautiful Infant of Prague is from the most desired "Columbia Statuary Company" (marked on bottom of statue). This is a Vintage Chalkware Infant of Prague Statue, we believe made in the 1960's. We acquired this antique piece at an estate sale. Statue measures about 9" H from foot to crown. Crown is removable and appears to be brass medal folded into a beautiful design with 4 red jewels  There are only a few tiny paint flecks on the hair around the crown but no visible cracks or breakage as is common in vintage Chalkware statues.  The under dress shows a little discolor and a few marks from age but still in great condition for its age. It is very difficult to find a Chalkware vintage Infant of Prague in this fine a shape. This is by far the nicest vintage Infant of Prague we have every acquired. They do not make them like this anymore. We have only one.
