Medjugorje USA Continues Our Mission to Go Green

In our Commitment to find new ways to make a difference, Beginning December 09, Medjugorje USA is happy to announce our website now operates on servers that are 100% exclusively powered by wind energy. Wind power is efficient and extremely environmentally friendly. This change will allow us to take another small stand against using energy other then fossil fuels. Fossil fuels are a huge part of the continued concerns of Global warming.

Medjugorje USA started to go green two years ago.

As many of you know, we have a Medjugorje Religious Gift Shop. We announced two years ago we would stop paper invoices inside shipped orders. We realized this would be a significant effort toward saving resources and help the environment in several different ways. Since that time all our invoices are sent by email only, along with a confirmation number so customers can track packages online.

To replenish the gift shop each year we receive tons of boxes and wrapping supplies from our wholesalers. We were constantly breaking down shipping supplies and throwing them away. We realized we could make a commitment to recycle many of these throw away items. We announced a year ago we would begin reusing boxes and wrapping products as long as we felt certain what we recycle is clean and safe. The program has been a big success.

What we at Medjugorje USA are doing by going Green is a tiny gesture in the big picture. However, if we all give just a little effort to go Green in our own way, just maybe all our tiny acts of love and caring will total up to one big improvement able to save the beautiful planet we live on. In this our Children’s, Children’s, Children, will enjoy a bright and exciting future.
