6 years ago this September the terrorist attack took place on the Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon. Flight 93 was also hijacked but due to the heroism of the passengers onboard the plane did not make it target and every passenger who fought the terrorists onboard died hero’s in my book.  There is no question we are living in troubled times, the likes I don’t believe the world has ever seen before. In that past year Our Lady of Medjugorje has given at least 3 messages to Medjugorje visionary Mirjana asking us why we can’t see the “Signs of the Times.” Note: the “Signs of the Times” are spoken of in Scripture should anyone like to search for them.

At the Notre Dame Medjugorje Conference on 5/27/07, Fr. Petar (the priest chosen to release the Medjugorje warnings and chastisements to the world) talked about the secrets given to the visionaries. Fr. Petar feels the warnings and chastisements may happen soon. Fr. Petar when asked if 9.11 and other signs in nature we have had of late are in his opinion linked as signs of what will come. He replied, “Yes.” He continued, “the world can not go on as it is.” As a note of hope Fr. Petar added, “What I would like to emphasize is what is most important – that we should not look for the time when it would take place, but put emphasis on: Are we ready to face it when it does take place? He who lives the Gospel in accordance to expectations of the Gospel and Christ has nothing to fear. 

As we near the 6^th anniversary of 9.1.1, I ask all of you to pray because Scripture tells us “with prayer all things are possible.” Through prayer we have been able to dissolve the 7th chastisement. With continued prayer and fasting we may remove more of the chastisements even though Mirjana has told us not all chastisements can be avoided because not all will be converted.  Come what may what is very important here is we keep in mind with prayer and fasting we have nothing to fear about future events involving the Medjugorje warnings, chastisements secrets.
